Position SummaryMaintenance Technician II is a mid-level role responsible for independently performing a broad range of maintenance tasks. This position requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining properties to ensure they are in optimal condition. The role covers various maintenance activities such as caulking, painting, basic electrical and plumbing work, window and flooring repairs, fencing, roofing, concrete work, janitorial duties, landscaping, and HVAC maintenance.
The technician ensures that all buildings, structures, equipment, and appliances are functioning as designed and supports the company in maintaining compliance with State and Federal regulations across the portfolio.
This position reports to the Regional Maintenance Manager with daily worksite oversight from the properties Maintenance Technician III.
EssentialJob Duties /Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate maintenance tasks, including basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems with limited supervision.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Assist in training and mentoring Maintenance Technician I staff.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
