ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are seeking a motivated custodian to join our company. This position is responsible for the cleanup spills caused by food or beverages, wash windows, mop floors, wipe tables, replace air filters and maintain a trash and recycling removal schedule in accordance with local pickup times. Their job is to uphold the health and safety of a building’s occupants by ensuring proper sanitation and completing chores.

They may also complete outdoor chores including mowing green spaces, trimming bushes and power-washing walls, windows, and sidewalks.

Manual Labor』『induced role; task not limited to. Cleanup worksites from hazardous or obsolete material up to 50lbs

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Cleaning wood, linoleum, tile, and other floors
• Cleaning rugs and carpets
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks
• Changing air filters and cleaning vents
• Dusting all surfaces
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
• Washing windows
• Maintaining a thorough inventory of cleaning supplies
• Using equipment, commercial vacuums, floor buffers and carpet cleaners
• Collecting and taking out trash and recycling

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
• Knowledge of different cleaning products and tools
• Time-management and multitasking abilities
• Physical strength and stamina
• Organization skills
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• The environment is that of a heavy industrial worksite.
• Exposure to air particles, such as dust, chemical (paint, oil, gas, diesel fumes) and weld smoke
• Exposure to loud, penetrating noises in some work areas
• Proper personal protective equipment is required at all times, such as, metatarsal boots, ear plugs/earmuffs, safety glasses, pants, hard hats and possible respirator use

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior warehouse work experience (Preferred)
