The Law Office of Rafael J. Borrás is a well-established, high-performing boutique immigration law firm located in San Antonio, Texas. We focus exclusively on immigration law, offering full-scope services in:

• Family-based immigration
• Removal defense (EOIR)
• Employment-based visas
• Investor visas (E-2, EB-5)
• Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
• Naturalization and citizenship

We are currently hiring an Immigration Attorney to join our in office legal team. This position is ideal for a skilled immigration attorney who is ready to take on a leadership role overseeing case strategy, guiding staff, and advocating for clients in high-stakes matters.

The attorney will work closely with the firm’s leadership to maintain quality standards, resolve complex legal issues, and foster a productive, positive work culture.

• Oversee and manage a personal caseload of diverse immigration matters, with a strong focus on litigation
• Supervise and mentor associate attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
• Review and approve filings to ensure legal accuracy and consistency with firm standards
• Assist with developing case strategy for complex matters, including EOIR and USCIS filings
• Conduct regular check-ins and provide feedback to legal team members
• Support ongoing training and foster professional development within the team
• Maintain strong client communication and contribute to a client-centered environment
• Collaborate with firm leadership on improving workflow, best practices, and efficiency

• Licensed to practice law in Texas, or immediately eligible for admission
• Significant experience in immigration law, including removal defense and family/employment-based petitions
• Demonstrated experience in litigation before immigration courts and agencies.
• Excellent legal writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to mentoring others
• Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not required
