The Opportunity

This role offers immediate responsibility over a diverse litigation docket and the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial attorneys on complex matters. The firm values attorneys who can think strategically, manage cases independently, and contribute to the firm's continued growth and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
The Litigation Attorney will:

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trial and mediation
• Handle discovery, motion practice, pleadings, and case strategy development
• Take and defend depositions; prepare witnesses and coordinate with experts
• Provide practical, business-minded counsel to clients
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues on complex litigation matters
• Contribute to firm growth and long-term practice development initiatives

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active license and good standing with the Texas Bar
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience (insurance defense, commercial litigation, construction, or related areas)
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage a docket while working collaboratively
• Interest in long-term advancement and partnership consideration
