Overview

Department: Claims Administration & Adjusting

Location: San Antonio, TX

Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 / year

Davies North America has an immediate opening for experienced insurance professional adjusters to handle but not limited to collision, comprehensive and property damage liability claims. This position supports our Third-Party Administration (TPA) claims Transportation Division. This is an in-office position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of industry experience and will work well independently in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Handle Collision, Comprehensive and PD claims involving personal auto
  • Work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure compliance with Davies and client claim handling guidelines
  • Review insurance policies and determine coverage
  • Determine liability and defenses
  • Provide claim summaries and participate in routine file reviews with clients
  • Identify claim trends and participate in client audit reviews
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, knowledge & expertise
  • Texas All-Lines Adjuster License
  • CA license preferred (other States must be obtainable)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other business software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Able to work in a team and independently
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to pass a background check
