SAP Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – SAP S/4

HANA for an on-site contract in San Antonio, TX. This role will support a large-scale SAP transformation initiative spanning multiple enterprise work streams and requires strong cross‑functional knowledge, stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on implementation experience.

The Business Analyst will support one of five SAP work streams—
Source-to-Pay (S2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Hire-to-Retire (H2R), Budget-to-Report (B2R), or Acquire-to-Retire (A2R)—while serving as a backup BA for another track. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements; developing high‑level context diagrams, data flows, and detailed process maps; and ensuring alignment between SAP solutions and business needs.

The BA will collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and HR stakeholders, including C‑suite leadership, delivering presentations and regular status reporting. The role includes leading testing efforts (Unit, System Integration, UAT, and Regression), defining test scenarios and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability to requirements, managing defects, and tracking testing progress through deployment readiness.

Additional responsibilities include supporting data migrations and integrations, maintaining PMO documentation (requirements, process maps, test scripts, results), participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project meetings, ensuring audit compliance, and serving as a liaison between business users and implementation teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst
• 3+ years of experience supporting SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementations, with a strong focus on financial projects
• Experience supporting multiple SAP work streams such as S2P, O2C, H2R, B2R, or A2R
• Proven experience supporting end‑to‑end business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and HR
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with requirements gathering, process mapping, use cases, and functional documentation
• 3+ years of experience supporting System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts and managing defect cycles
• Experience supporting data migration and integrations
• Working knowledge of SAP financial and operational modules, including SAP Finance, MM, and SD
• Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive stakeholders
• Ability to work 100% onsite in San Antonio, TX, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• 2+ years of previous experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• SAP or relevant industry certifications
• Experience working in complex, fast‑paced enterprise transformation environments
• Strong stakeholder management experience in high‑pressure settings
