Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst in San Antonio, TX. Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented SAP Business Analyst to support an SAP S/4

HANA, HCM-Success Factors and Ariba implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge across SAP work streams and related modules. The project includes five work streams:
Source-to-Pay (S2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Hire-to-Retire (H2R), Budget-to-Report (B2R), and Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), along with related integrations and data migrations. Each workstream has a primary Business Analyst who also serves as a backup for another. We are currently seeking three BAs for S2P, O2C, and A2R. The Business Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements, develop high-level context diagrams, data flows, and process mappings, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the SAP solution aligns with business needs.

This role requires the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders, deliver presentations, and provide regular status reporting. The Business Analyst will also lead testing activities, including defining test scenarios, scripts, and acceptance criteria; ensuring traceability to requirements; supporting data migration and integrations; and facilitating Unit, System Integration, UAT, and Regression testing. The role includes tracking testing progress, managing issues, and ensuring readiness for deployment.

Additional responsibilities include stakeholder communication, serving as a liaison between business users and implementation teams, participating in project and Scrum meetings, and maintaining PMO documentation such as requirements, process maps, test cases, and results in compliance with company and audit standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with a strong focus on financial projects and SAP S/4

    HANA financial implementations
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end financial and operational business processes across functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and HR
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, including process mapping, use cases, and detailed functional documentation
  • Strong experience supporting System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including writing test scripts, managing test cycles, and tracking defects
  • Experience working in Agile environments and with project management tools is preferred
  • SAP or relevant industry certifications are a plus
Desirable

Skills:

Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Financial modules such as SAP Finance, MM, and SD
  • Experience supporting data migration and ensuring data integrity during system transitions
  • Strong working knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology; S/4

    HANA Financials experience is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including dashboards, pivot tables, formulas, and reporting to support project and stakeholder reporting
  • Ability to lead and facilitate business process discussions, document outcomes, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical and executive stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Proven stakeholder management skills in complex environments
  • Ability to quickly adapt to client working styles while contributing new perspectives and continuous improvement ideas
  • 100% onsite role in San Antonio, TX, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with competing priorities

Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
