Mainframe Scheduling Analyst

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Mainframe Operations professional with experience using mainframe scheduling systems to manage and control batch workloads in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Monitor and manage batch schedules using mainframe scheduling tools

* Query scheduling systems to track job status and dependencies

* Add, remove, and modify job schedules as required

* Run forecasts and analyze batch flows to identify potential issues

* Support daily batch operations and coordinate with operations teams
* Mainframe Operations experience

* Hands-on experience with mainframe scheduling systems such as:

* ZEKE experience preferred

* CA-7 experience

* Control-M (or similar MF schedulers) experience

* Ability to actively work within a scheduler (not just familiarity)

* JCL knowledge is helpful, but not required

Skills:

* Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills

* Experience supporting enterprise batch environments
