Role Overview
The JDE Functional Consultant – Shopfloor is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting JD Edwards Shopfloor Management (SFM) and related Manufacturing modules. The role works closely with business users, manufacturing teams, and technical consultants to ensure smooth execution of shopfloor operations, production tracking, and manufacturing reporting.

Role Overview
The JDE Functional Consultant – Shopfloor is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting JD Edwards Shopfloor Management (SFM) and related Manufacturing modules. The role works closely with business users, manufacturing teams, and technical consultants to ensure smooth execution of shopfloor operations, production tracking, and manufacturing reporting.
Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Functional Responsibilities
- Implement, configure, and support JDE Shopfloor Management (SFM) module
- Understand and map manufacturing business processes including:
- Discrete manufacturing
- Work orders
- Routing & Bill of Material (BOM)
- Production reporting
- Labor & machine hours tracking
- Configure and support:
- Work Order Processing
- Operation sequencing
- Labor reporting (P311221 / P311221W)
- Completion & variance reporting
- Analyze and resolve production issues related to:
- Work order status
- Completions
- Back flushing
- Yield & scrap
- Collaborate with production planners, supervisors, and shopfloor users to gather requirements
- Prepare functional specifications for customizations and enhancements
- Support UAT, SIT, and Production deployments
- Provide post-go-live support and user training
