Combat Survivor Evader Locator; CSEL Program Manager

Overview

Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) Program Manager, Joint Base San Antonio - Lackland (JBSA-L), TX. Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS) is looking for a qualified CSEL Program Manager to support Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) training at JBSA-L, TX.

• CSEL program management in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Perform management, training, and instructor certification functions in support of academic, laboratory and operational training.
• Serve as the CSEL program manager and technical subject matter expert.
• Serve as the overall system administrator / SME for the CSEL training architecture.
• Provide SERE Specialist training on management and use of CSEL web application accounts, hand-held radios, and PTIU.
• Provide CSEL support for SERE training in field and classroom environments.
• Perform management, training, and instructor certification functions in support of academic, laboratory, and operational training.
• Provide, prepare, and conduct CSEL related training, briefings, reviews, after-action reports, and meetings.

• Two (2) years' experience knowledge in and demonstrate familiarity with the DoD CSEL over the horizon architecture to include operations of the CSEL web-app terminal and/or CSEL base station.
• Experience providing CSEL command and control coverage in an operational environment.
• Ability to pass a physical and psychological evaluation.
• Active Secret Security Clearance at the time of hire.
• Proof of US Citizenship required.

• Must be able to effectively communicate with military organizations, military leaders and civilian leaders.
• Must have a valid driver's license, maintain Installation driving privileges.
• Must be able to pass all security requirements IAW military installation Provost Marshall's Policy to gain access to the installation.

This position is performed in a combination of classroom, laboratory, office, and outdoor field training environments in support of U.S. Air Force SERE operations. Work may include supporting training events in controlled academic settings as well as operational field environments where CSEL systems are employed in realistic survival and evasion scenarios. The role requires frequent interaction with military personnel, instructors, and leadership, and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, uneven terrain, and extended periods outdoors during field exercises.

Duties are conducted in a secure, mission-focused environment requiring strict adherence to DoD, U.S. Air Force, and installation security, safety, and operational procedures.
