Overview

IT Help Desk Technician job at Kahlig Auto Group in San Antonio, TX. Kahlig Automotive Group is currently seeking a full-time IT Help Desk Technician. This is a great entry level position to gain hands on experience in Information Technology.

This position requires, but not limited to, on-site PC support (application and hardware), minor networking, documentation, remote support, phone support, and knowledge of PC imaging. The candidate will be responsible for cleanliness and organization of network closets, office, and vehicles.

Pay:
Up to $20 per hour
Expected hours: 40 hours per week M-F 8-5PM

Key Responsibilities Technical Support
  • Provide on-site and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related hardware/software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, Office 365, networking, and other business-critical applications.
  • Assist with system setups, hardware deployment, and software installations.
  • Perform password resets, account unlocks, and basic user account administration.
  • Maintain documentation of technical procedures and known issues.
Dispatch & Coordination
  • Monitor incoming support tickets and assign them based on priority, issue type, and location.
  • Follow up on open tickets to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • High School diploma required
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a desktop support or helpdesk environment.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with Office 365.
  • Understanding of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Preferred Certifications
  • CompTIA A+
  • Microsoft Certified:
    Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
