The Role Peraton's Cyber Mission supports the United States Air Force by delivering mission-critical Cyber professionals who defend our nation's security. Our team of experts provides innovative engineering, logistics, sustainment, and customer support to ensure the functionality of network infrastructure, while addressing the most complex cyber operations and national defense challenges. Peraton is seeking a Field Support Services, Senior Associate to support our mission to defend and protect our national security.
The Field Support Services, Senior Associate provides on-site technical support to maintain, repair, and configure IT and communications systems in operational environments. They assist with equipment deployment, perform routine maintenance, and work closely with end users and technical teams to ensure mission systems remain operational and secure. Responsibilities may include:
The Field Support Services, Senior Associate will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
* Provide on-site technical support for IT, communications, and mission systems.
* Install, configure, and test hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
* Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and connectivity issues in the field.
* Assist with the deployment and integration of new systems and technologies.
* Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, configurations, and repairs. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience OR a Master's degree with 0 years of experience OR 6 years of experience with no degree.
* US Citizenship and a current active TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI.
* Must comply with DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 411 requirements, including holding an approved baseline certification and meeting all KSAs for managing, monitoring, and maintaining DoD gateway and boundary systems.
* Experience providing hands-on technical support for IT or communications systems.
* Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software in operational environments.
* Familiarity with preventive maintenance processes and equipment lifecycle management.
* Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in the field. Desired
Qualifications:
* Experience supporting military or government field operations.
* Understanding of tactical communications equipment and configurations.
* Knowledge of networking fundamentals for field system connectivity.
* Experience with satellite or radio communications systems. SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range Details Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Benefits Statement:
