Data Center Technician, ADC InfraOps DCO

Description

AWS is looking for fully cleared Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolver and troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

• Planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning.
• Lifting and moving material up to 49 pounds, working in cramped and/or elevated locations, bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, and standing/walking up to 8+ hours a day.
• Using ladders, stairs, gangways safely, working in noisy environments, and shift work longer than 8 hours, including night, day, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Trained in TI principles and OSI model to find solutions to problems and maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or Network+, Security+, or other entry-level certifications.
• Current active US Government TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

• A+, Network+, Security+, or other networking certifications.
