Position: Technical Writer – Model Governance

Duration: 12 Months

Location: San Antonio, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer with strong experience in AI/ML, AIOps platforms, Model Validation, Model Monitoring, and Model Governance frameworks
. The ideal candidate will work closely with data scientists, ML engineers, model risk management teams, Dev Ops, and compliance stakeholders to create high-quality technical documentation supporting enterprise AI initiatives.

This role will be responsible for documenting AI models, operational monitoring frameworks, governance standards, validation processes, and regulatory-compliant technical artifacts for internal and external stakeholders.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for AI/ML models, AIOps systems, and enterprise data science platforms.
• Create Model Development Documentation (MDD), Model Validation Reports, and Model Governance artifacts aligned with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
• Document model monitoring processes, drift detection mechanisms, performance tracking dashboards, and alerting workflows.
• Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, model risk management teams, and AIOps engineers to capture technical design, algorithms, and system architecture details.
• Prepare user guides, SOPs, technical specifications, architecture diagrams, knowledge-base articles, and operational playbooks.
• Translate complex AI/ML concepts into clear, structured, and regulatory-ready documentation.
• Support model lifecycle documentation, including development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
• Ensure documentation aligns with Model Governance frameworks, enterprise standards, and audit requirements.
• Maintain version-controlled documentation repositories (Git, Confluence, SharePoint, etc.).
• Assist audit, risk, and compliance teams by preparing model risk documentation packages.
