Administrator – IT Services

Akkodis is seeking an Administrator – IT Services 3 for a Contract role with a client in San Antonio, TX
. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration, Power Shell automation, and Microsoft-based infrastructure configuration and support.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, test, maintain, and support applications and programs used for IT asset management.
• Identify and manage processes for asset tracking, updating, quality assurance, and reporting across IT asset databases.
• Configure, deploy, and support Microsoft‑based infrastructure and enterprise applications.
• Consult with support teams, customers, and technical staff to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
• Manage systems for asset inventory, licensing, patching, deployment, reporting, and lifecycle operations.

• Deploy and configure AVD host pools, session hosts, images, and scaling plans.
• Manage and optimize FSLogix profiles and image deployment workflows.
• Monitor AVD performance and troubleshoot connectivity, profile, and session-related issues.
• Automate AVD administrative tasks using Power Shell and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Implement AVD security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for AVD-related incidents and document resolutions.

• 3+ years of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, identity management, and cloud security concepts.
• Proficiency in Power Shell scripting, automation, and infrastructure deployment workflows.
• Experience with FSLogix, image management, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for observability and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting Microsoft enterprise applications and workstations.

• Microsoft Intune experience for device compliance, app deployment, and policy configuration.
• Experience operating hybrid environments integrating AVD + Intune for endpoint management.
• Experience with hardware and software asset reporting, lifecycle analysis, and compliance tracking.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
