Cyntel Technologies is seeking a Cyber Analyst for an opportunity at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

Position Description: As a Cyber Analyst supporting the AFCYBER Operations Directorate (A3), you will play a vital role in assessing the readiness and capabilities of cyber forces aligned with Air Force and USCYBERCOM objectives. You will monitor readiness systems, analyze data, and provide actionable recommendations to address gaps, ensuring cyber forces are prepared to support full-spectrum operations.

Position Duties:

• Analyze cyber force readiness data from JCC2-R and DRRS to identify gaps, deficiencies, and performance trends.
• Collaborate with AFCYBER staff and subordinate units to provide recommendations for improving cyber mission readiness.
• Execute MET alignment and assist in developing/assigning DOC statements in compliance with AF and DoD guidance.
• Author, maintain, and update the Cyber Readiness Smartbook for AFCYBER leadership use.
• Provide subject matter input for readiness directives, technical documents, and briefings on cyber operational capability.
• Respond to RFIs/RFSs and support SMEs with cyber-related readiness and capability information.
• Support the development of readiness-related correspondence (e.g., bullet background papers, talking points, white papers).
• Maintain awareness of USCYBERCOM and HQ AF cyber policy to guide internal readiness reporting improvements.

Position Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field – or equivalent years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of cyber operations, cyber planning, or cyber readiness experience within DoD (preferably U.S. Air Force elements or USCYBERCOM).
• Proficiency with readiness and reporting systems such as JCC2-R and DRRS.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with DoD cyber policy and readiness frameworks.
