Senior Service Desk Intune Analyst

Overview

Job Title: Senior Service Desk Intune Analyst - Administrator

Job Type: 6 month Contract

Location: Johnson City, TX - Hybrid 2 days onsite

Salary Range: $42-$47 an hour

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune policies for device compliance, configuration profiles, update rings, and application deployment across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Monitor and remediate device health and compliance issues using Intune Reports, Endpoint Analytics, and proactive remediation scripts.
• Support Windows Autopilot provisioning workflows, including hybrid and Entra join scenarios, device hash capture, profile assignment, and troubleshooting enrollment failures.
• Create and manage dynamic and static device groups in Entra  targeted policy and app deployments.
• Deploy and manage security baselines, Bit Locker encryption policies, and Defender for Endpoint configurations via Intune.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and network teams to implement certificate-based Wi-Fi profiles, VPN configurations, and conditional access policies.
• Troubleshoot Intune-related issues, including failed app deployments, policy conflicts, and update ring errors.
• Assist in migration projects, such as transitioning devices from legacy management platforms (e.g., SCCM, Workspace ONE) to Intune.
• Document Intune configurations and processes, and contribute to internal knowledge base and training materials for Service Desk and IT staff.

• Deep understanding of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager architecture and modern MDM capabilities.
• Experience with Windows Update for Business, Feature Update policies, and deployment rings.
• Familiarity with Power Shell scripting for Intune automation and remediation.
• Knowledge of Entra  (Azure AD) dynamic group rules and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience with Autopilot deployment troubleshooting, including hybrid join and domain connectivity issues.
• Understanding of Intune MAM and MDM policies, including assignment filters and app protection strategies.
• Experience managing Intune environments with 1000+ devices across multiple platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Windows 11 migration strategies using Intune Feature Update policies.
• Familiarity with Endpoint Analytics, proactive remediation scripts, and reporting dashboards.
