What You Will Do
As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will test the most complex features of new software releases using pre-defined test plans and scripts to identify defects. You will follow uniform testing procedures, document results, and use designated systems and tools to track outcomes. You will perform follow-up rounds of testing as needed. You may train new testers and coordinate resources for the team.
You will typically report to a supervisor and/or Program/Project Manager and independently perform a wide range of complex duties under general guidance from supervisors. You have gained full proficiency in a broad range of activities related to the job.

What You Will Need- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline is required
- A minimum of EIGHT (8) years of experience in IT security, infrastructure, information security technology, policy, and procedure development.
- A bachelor’s degree is required; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of TWELVE (12) years of relevant work experience is required.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.
- Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products.
- Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.
- Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
- Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.
- Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.
- Knowledge of 508 testing standards and requirements
- Test automation support by automating manual testing processes and procedures, enabling testing to be performed more rapidly.
- Expediting review of expected results, and conserving human testing bandwidth, thereby making it possible for EST to test larger quantities of applications and systems.
The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
