** MUST HAVE SOW/RFI/RFP/SALES EXPERIENCE**

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering or pre‑sales technical roles
• Proven expertise with Juniper, Xtreme, and HP Aruba networking equipment
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs)
• Experience with network security, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Ability to run and perform wired and wireless implementations
• Experience creating SOW's/RFI's/RFP's
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, JNCIP, Aruba Certified) are a plus

We are looking for a Pre‑Sales Network Engineer to join the team of one of our value added reseller clients. This person will serve as a critical technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, working closely with account executives and clients to understand business needs and architect tailored networking solutions. Leveraging your hands‑on experience with Juniper, Xtreme, and HP Aruba equipment, you’ll design and present wired and wireless infrastructures that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements.

They will lead technical consultations, deliver engaging product demonstrations, and support implementation strategies while contributing to proposals, BOMs, and network diagrams. This role also includes responding to RFPs/RFIs, advising on network security best practices, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure solution feasibility and customer satisfaction. This position demands strong communication skills, deep technical knowledge, and a consultative mindset to drive successful engagements and long‑term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will come from a network engineering background, and have very strongегистрहार communication skills. This role requires 50‑60% travel since this person and their account executive will be covering all of Central Texas.

Salary range: $100,000-$120,000.
