Information Security Analyst

Location: San Antonio, TX (onsite 4 days/week)

Contract: 12-month contract (possibility to extend)

Compensation: $30-44/hr. (range depends on experience)

• 2‑4 years of experience in Information Security/Information Technology or Governance Risk & Compliance or Third‑Party Risk Management.
• Oversee third‑party assessments to ensure governance, risk, and compliance standards are met and support remediation of findings.
• Peer‑review IT/IS assessments of vendors and assist in closing gaps.
• Document findings, track gaps, and collaborate with peers to improve processes.
• Assist in determining inherent risk of vendor contracts and share insights with the Third‑Party Risk Management program.
• Communicate with senior executives regarding risk assessment questions.

• Strong knowledge of the NIST Cyber Framework.
• Experience with IT Security risk assessments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong writing and issue remediation skills related to information security and technology risk domains.
• Certifications in TPRM/Governance or vendor assessments (Security+, CTPRP, CISA, CRISC).
