Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) Cyberspace Instructor / Developer - SME

Tyto Athene is searching for an Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) Cyberspace Instructor / Developer - SME providing Cyberspace Support Services and instructions in support of the 39th Information Operation Squadron (39 IOS), Detachment 1 (Det-1) at JBSA‑Lackland, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, research, and analyze the System Training Plans (STP), Training Needs Analysis (TNA), Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA), Master Training Task List (MTTL), Task Analysis Worksheets (TAW), Training Task List (TTL), and provide report IAW 39 IOS approved direction/guidance and timeline milestones.
  • Plan, research, and analyze Department of Defense (DoD) information systems associated with AFIN, AFNET, DoDIN, and Joint Information Environment (JIE).
  • Analyze different U.S. Cyber Command and Air Force cyber mission forces operations, including CMF, CPT, CST, CMT, NMT, and 16 AF/AFCYBER Cyber Weapons System operations.
  • Integrate computer Internet Protocol (IP) fundamentals, advanced IP concepts, CyO fundamentals, advanced CyO concepts, converging networks, and emerging technologies into the curriculum and mission systems.
  • Plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct advanced CyO instructional materials IAW 39 IOS SOPs/Operating Instructions (OI) for in‑residence courseware, MTT, non‑resident, online, and Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) courseware.
  • Plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct practical application student training missions, mission scenarios, and mission evaluation tests or demonstrations for in‑residence and non‑resident courseware, MTT, and ADL.
  • Utilize the ISD, ADDIE Model, and Bloom’s taxonomy level of learning for all course development.
  • Provide lesson plans of instruction, instructor notes, lesson test/evaluation questions, and lesson student materials within the Government specified timeframe.
  • Plan, design, and develop e-learning products, including objectives, storyboards, web‑based aids, video instruction or performance support systems for inclusion into a learning management system.
  • Assist in the creation of mission simulator virtual environments for training missions, scenarios, and evaluation tests or demonstrations.
  • Validate CyO course schedules (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annual) for completeness and instruction assignment.
  • Analyze, plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct cyber curriculum such as Internet Protocol Networking.
  • Analyze, plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct Department of Defense information systems architecture.
  • Analyze, plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct the employment and execution of Air Force Cyber and Joint CMF capabilities.
  • Analyze, plan, design, develop, integrate, modify, update, and instruct the employment of Air Force and Joint Operations.
  • Integrate CO, IO, DoDIN Ops, and XCOMM Ops defensive and offensive skill sets into classroom instruction as they relate to Air Force and Joint employment of weapons systems, work roles, and capabilities.
  • Integrate defensive and offensive skill sets related to CyO, DoDIN Ops, and CS&D Ops as they relate to USCYBERCOM and 16 AF/AFCYBER employment of cyber weapons systems, work roles, and capabilities into classroom instruction.
Required
  • 5 or more years of experience in Cyberspace Operations
  • On site support in San Antonio, TX
Desired
  • Master’s Degree in a STEM field (or approved equivalent experience)
  • 400+ instructor podium hours (or IAT/M Level‑III certification)
  • Experience designing and/or developing OCO tools and capabilities
Clearance
  • Active and current DoD TS/SCI eligibility with ability to obtain SAP/SAR eligibility
Travel Required
  • Minimal, less than 10%
Compensation
  • Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $170,000–$195,000.
