IT Support Engineer; Hybrid in San Antonio

The IT Support Engineer I is responsible for the technical support at all Vericast locations; analyzes and resolves faults, whether it is a major system crash or a forgotten password while undertaking routine preventative measures and deploying new hardware to users.

• Responsible for Windows and MAC support including patch management and vulnerability management, along with system and hardware refreshes. (20%)
• Work in Service Now with MAC and Windows and many applications that support the business. (20%)
• Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence while working closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff. (20%)
• Provide on‑call support and upgrade deployments that may be done on nights and weekends. (10%)
• Identify process improvement needs and communicate these needs with leadership. (10%)
• Adapt quickly to new processes and ever‑changing technologies. (10%)
• Lead project‑based work under direction of manager or other managers and provide status updates in a timely manner. (10%)

• Education
  :
  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience
  : 3+ Years with Bachelor’s degree or 9+ years’ work experience.
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  :
  • General knowledge in multiple SDLC methodologies.
  • Technically proficient in application/component or system; may act as internal consultant.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Preferred Experience with MDT (Microsoft Deployment) / Big Fix / AD access management / M365 and Azure.

Base salary: $60,000-$70,000.
