Scada Systems Analyst; No H1B

The candidate should possess a thorough understanding of the major components of the Pipeline Process Control System, specifically OASyS, a SCADA system. Responsibilities include responding to system failures, performing corrective measures, and maintaining the SCADA Operations Control Center Environment.

Manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and support operations. Understand Pipeline Operations to configure applications such as Leak Detection, Batch Tracking, Metering, Scheduling Interface, Meter and Tank Ticketing, Station Balance, Hydraulic Profile, and Pressure Point Analysis.

Have knowledge of UNIX operating system and administrative tasks including installation, upgrades, configuration of file systems, networks, printers, serial devices, user account management, X-windows System customization, user support, backups, security, performance monitoring, and Shell scripting.

Install, start, stop, and configure SQL Server; manage Sybase databases including creation, deletion, and resizing; manage SQL Server login accounts; perform backups and restores; monitor, tune, troubleshoot SQL Server; perform database maintenance.

• Support operations 24/7 as operations are continuous.
• Knowledge of Tank Gauging Systems and related calculations.
• Ability to manage projects using standard principles, methods, tools, and techniques.
• Strong communication skills for reporting work activity.
• Understanding of industry standards such as AQMD, DOT, and API.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with SCADA systems, relational databases (preferably Sybase), and UNIX (preferably AIX). Pipeline experience is preferred.
