• Valkyrie Enterprises has a need for a Cyber Protection Team Member who will provide key support for the DCRIOS (Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration and Operational Support) Program at JBSA (Joint Base San Antonio) TX.

• Conduct cyber threat hunting, network navigation, tactical forensic analysis, collection of valuable operational data, and execute operations in support of defensive initiatives.
• Manage and execute first‑level responses and address reported or detected incidents.
• Provide support monitoring all designated networks and systems.
• Interpret, analyze, and report findings with computer network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events.

• Must have a high school diploma.
• Must have IAT Level III certification or Cyber Workforce Role 511.
• Must have strong Unix/Linux fundamentals along with familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows Command Line Interface (CLI), Bash and Power Shell.
• Must be proficient in writing, editing, and executing scripts on Windows, Linux, Unix systems.
• Must have experience with toolsets such as Wireshark, the Elastic Stack, Arkime, Zeek, Metasploit, tcpdump, NMap, Nessus, Snort, EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, Windows Fundamentals, Unix fundamentals, exploitation theory, privilege escalation, evidence removal.
• Must have experience with encrypted and unencrypted remote access technologies, such as RDP, SSH, VPN, Telnet, and FTP.
• Must have general knowledge of cyber security frameworks, such as the Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, and the NIST 800 series.
• Must have general knowledge of physical computer components and architectures, including the functions of computer domains, directory services, various components and peripherals, basic programming concepts, assembly codes, TCP/IP, OSI models, underlying networking protocols (e.g., DNS, ARP, etc.), security hardware and software.
• Must have the ability to work in a demanding, deadline‑driven environment, be detail oriented, and self‑motivated.
• Must have strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or under limited supervision.

• Bachelor's Degree or possess, or be willing to obtain, one of the following certifications: GCFA, GCIA, Pen Test+, GCED, CFR, or Cloud+ is preferred.
• Knowledge of cyber forensic collection, preservation, and chain of custody is preferred.
• Experience with encryption, decryption, and hashing technologies such as DES, AES, RSA, PKI, SHA, and MD5 is preferred.
• Knowledge of Red Team Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) is preferred.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, process control, advanced routing, wireless, cloud, telecom and datacom platforms is preferred.
• Experience programming in C, C++, C#, Ruby, Perl, Python, SQL is preferred.

• Must have Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be able to successfully pass/maintain a U.S. Government Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI/Poly).
• Must be a US Citizen with a valid Driver's License.

• 25% Travel Required.

• Ability to lift, carry and transport equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job.
• Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Able to perform other duties as required which may involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions, working aloft or over the sides of vessels.
