AI & Data – Data Architecture – Senior Manager – Power & Utilities SectorEY seeks a motivated professional with solid experience in the utilities sector to serve as a Senior Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in Data Architecture, Data Modernization, end‑to‑end Data capabilities, AI, Gen AI, and Agentic AI, preferably with a power systems / electrical engineering background and a record of delivering use cases in Transmission, Distribution, Generation, and Customer domains.
Experience in consulting firms and a proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced consulting culture are essential.
You will:
- Lead transformative technology projects and programs aligned with EY’s strategy to achieve impactful outcomes.
- Provide assurance to leadership by managing timelines, costs, and quality, and lead both technical and non‑technical project teams.
- Deliver large‑scale AI‑ready data architectures, solving complex analytical problems to enable ML and AI at scale for clients.
- Guide junior team members, interpret internal and external issues, and recommend high‑quality solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to senior decision makers.
- Support new business development for EY by showcasing expertise in data strategy and analytic technology solutions.

- Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
- 12+ years of professional consulting experience or technology consulting.
- 12+ years of experience architecting, designing, delivering, or optimizing data lake solutions.
- 5+ years’ experience with native cloud products such as Azure or GCP.
- 8+ years of mentoring and leading data architecture and engineering teams.
- In‑depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience leading large data engineering teams to design and build complex platforms.
- Hands‑on experience designing end‑to‑end data pipelines, performance optimization, and scalable architectures.
- Proficiency with Python, Java, Scala, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Data Ops practices.
- Practical understanding of data encryption, access control, and security best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
- Experience at a Big‑4 or major utility.
- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks.
- Track record of mentoring teams and fostering inclusive environments.
- Commercial astuteness, client trust, and communication with impact.
