WhatYou Will Do
- Leading Service Now projects, including interacting with clients and users to identify and translate functional requirements
- Collaborating with Service Now development teams to design, develop, implement, and administer Service Now applications.
- Translating complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using Service Now.
- Supporting Service Now projects by interacting with stakeholders to capture current state processes and pain points, and design future state processes.
- Maintaining frequent engagement with users and stakeholders throughout all phases of the overall project and development efforts.
- Collaborating closely with technical teams in their efforts to develop, configure, and enhance Service Now applications.
- Staying current with Service Now products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Conducting technical assessments and providing recommendations for improving existing Service Now implementations.
- Building functional work products such as process maps, design documents, and communications.
- Supporting functional product testing and training activities.
- Creating technical and functional documentation for Service Now solutions.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Secret security clearance before onboarding.
- Minimum of 4 years of Service Now or similar technology implementation experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Agile, Scrum, or SAFe certifications.
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
- Knowledge of Service Now modules such as GRC, SPM, ITSM, App Engine, and scoped apps.
- Well‑rounded technology consulting experience, including defining requirements, leading client meetings, facilitating UAT, and conducting training.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Ability to self‑direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
- Candidate with an active Secret or higher‑level clearance.
- One or more Service Now certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Heightened attention to detail.
- Knowledge of other low‑code and no‑code platforms such as Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, UiPath, Databricks, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau.
- Hands‑on experience configuring Service Now solutions.
- General understanding of financial management aspects in a federal environment.
The annual salary range for this position is $92,000.00–$. Compensation decisions depend on skill sets, experience, certifications, security clearances, and other business requirements.
