Position SummaryThe Headof Human Resourceswillserveasthetacticalandstrategicbusinessleaderforthe Human Resourcesdepartmentand Company executives .Thepositionisresponsiblefor
HRorganizationaldevelopment,recruiting,employee relations,employeeengagementandsatisfaction,performance management,andcompensationandbenefitsanalysis.
Thisroleservesastheprimarypointofourculture,workingdirectlywithourmostimportantasset,our employees.
- Managethe Company’sHRoperations,includingrecruitingandhiring,talent management,andbenefitsadministration.
- Identifyandtrackkeyperformanceindicatorsforthe Company’sHRDepartmentandassessthe
Company’ssuccessandmarketcompetitivenessbasedonthemetrics. - Oversee recruiting,endeavoringtooptimizerecruitingexpendituresandshortenthetimebetweenjobpostingandhiringclosure.
- Developstrategicstaffingplansandprogramstoidentifyanddeveloptalentwithinandoutsidetheorganizationforallpositions.
- Develop
HRplanningmodelstoidentifycompetency,knowledge,andtalentgaps. - Benchmark Company’scompensationandbenefitsrelativetolocalandnationalindicesversusindustry.
- Workwith
CEOinupdatingperformancereviewandprogressivedisciplineprocessandensuremanagersaretrainedandfollowingsetexpectations. - Consultwithmanagementandteammemberstoimproveworkingrelationships,buildemployeemorale,increaseproductivityandretention.
- Overseeandmanagetheadministrationofemployeesurveystopromoteemployeeengagement,department alignment,andrealizationofhigheremployeeratingsof
Companybasedonsurveyresultsovertime. - Supervise,motivate,anddevelopateamofdedicated
HR professionals;encouragetheirgrowthinskills,knowledgeandprofessionalstanding. - Maintainknowledgeoflaws,regulations,andbestpracticesinemploymentlaw,human resources,andtalentmanagement.
- Bachelor’sdegreeinhumanresources,Business Administration,orrelatedfieldrequired,master’sdegreepreferred.
- Atleasttenyears’experience in
HR functions,preferablyforamanufacturingorconsumerproductcompany. - SHRM-CPorSHRM-SCPstronglypreferred.
Education and Experience
- Strongworkingknowledgeofallkeyfunctional
HRareas,including recruitment,employee relations,compensation,and benefits. - Abilitytorecruitforabroadrangeofroles.
- Strongleadershipexperiencewithexperiencemanagingvariouslevelsofemployeesanddisciplines.
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationsskills.
- Outstandinginterpersonalandconflictresolutionskills.
- Opendoorpolicywithemployees.
- Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
- Effectivelisteningskillsandemotionalintelligence,withabilitytoreadbetweenthelines.
- Thoroughknowledgeofemployment-relatedlawsandregulations.

- Abilitytomaintaincomposureandprofessionalismunderstress,regardlessofcompetingpriorities.
- Strongabilitytomultitask.

- Experienceinthelightingindustryand/or manufacturing.
