Overview

Join Our Culinary Team and Elevate Banquet Experiences

We are seeking a talented and motivated Banquet Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience with high-volume banquet operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. As the Banquet Sous Chef, you will play a key role in planning, preparing, and executing banquet events, ensuring culinary excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in coordinating all banquet kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and mentor banquet kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Prepare and execute banquet menus for events of varying sizes and requirements.
  • Ensure quality control, presentation, and timely service of all dishes.
  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
  • Collaborate with event planners and service staff to accommodate guest needs and dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Train and develop junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume banquet or catering environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of modern culinary techniques and presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
  • Food safety certification required.
