Job Description:

The RN SICU will work in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit providing care to a surgical population, especially those with oncology needs. The unit is equipped with ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors. The documentation system used is Meditech.
Responsibilities:
Assignments according to acuity and skills in a 16-bed unit with an estimated 1:2 patient ratio.
Perform ICU procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, and intubations.
Requirements:
Active RN TX license; temporary licenses not accepted.
2 years of ICU experience with BLS and ACLS certifications.
