Status: Seasonal-Full Time
Pay: $14-$16 depending on experience

The front desk drives the entire visit. At Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care, Front Office Specialists keep families informed, supported, and moving through the clinic with confidence, even when the lobby is full and emotions are high.
This role is not just about checking boxes. It’s about accuracy, communication, and showing up steady when parents are stressed and kids don’t feel well.
Responsibilities- Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first
- Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments without losing accuracy
- Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully
- Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts
- Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy
- Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enjoys working with children and families
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy clinics
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Pediatric or urgent care front desk experience
- Clinic Hours are as follows:
Mon – Fri: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm - Sat-Sun: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
- Rotating weekends
This is a fast-paced role. Some days are calm. Others move quickly. We train our team, support them during volume spikes, and expect reliability and accountability in return.
