Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for facilitating comprehensive respiratory case management and delivering quality-based healthcare services by means of education, intake assessments including evaluating conditions and needs; setting short and long-term goals through advocacy, development and implementation of individualized care.
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a Respiratory Therapy is required. Work experience in case management, utilization review or hospital quality assurance experience is preferred.
Licensure / CertificationsCurrent Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Texas State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license are required. Case Manager Certification (CCM, CPHQ or ANCC) is highly desirable. Current CPR certification (BLS) is required.
