* Job Summary:

** We are seeking a skilled and compassionate
** Radiation Therapist
** to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist, ensuring precision and patient safety throughout the process. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Administer prescribed doses of radiation to patients using specialized equipment.
* Position patients accurately to ensure effective and safe treatment.
* Operate and maintain radiation therapy machines, ensuring functionality and safety compliance.
* Monitor patients during treatments and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
* Educate patients and their families about the treatment process, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
* Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, Dosimetrists and other healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment sessions.
* Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to minimize exposure risks.

* Qualifications:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
* Certification from the
** American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
** or an equivalent credential.
* State licensure (if required by the state).
* Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide emotional support to patients.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment with attention to detail.
** Preferred

Skills & Experience:

*** Prior experience in a clinical radiation therapy setting.
* Familiarity with different types of radiation therapy techniques, such as
** IMRT, SBRT, and brachytherapy**.
* Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
** Work Environment &

Conditions:

*** Outpatient Radiation Services administered weekdays only.
* Requires standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility needs.
* Regular exposure to radiation, requiring adherence to strict safety protocols.
