Caregiver - Part Time | Young Adult with Disabilities

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM (15 hours/week) – Additional hours may be available. This is an in-home caregiver role for an 18-year-old client with disabilities in the Stone Oak area. The position offers consistent weekday evening hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a young adult’s life.

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
• Provide companionship and age-appropriate engagement activities
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition to family and care coordinator
• Support the client’s independence while ensuring safety

• Patient, positive attitude with genuine interest in working with young adults with disabilities
• Reliable transportation and ability to commit to consistent Monday–Friday evening schedule
• Experience with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, or adaptive care preferred
• Strong communication skills with both the client and family members
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• High school diploma or GED
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
