Job Summary:

Methodist Healthcare, the leading provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas, is expanding and looking for a lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant to become part of our established and collaborative team in San Antonio, TX.

Job details:

• Manage and coordinate the healthcare of patients in collaboration with cardiologist
• Achieve thorough competency in all aspects of stress testing
• Document, maintain, and review patient records, charts, and other relevant information in the EMR system
• In collaboration with leadership, develop new programs to optimize clinical care and enable APP development

Qualified Candidates:

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 5 years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical experience
• At least 3 years of leadership experience (5 years preferred) while maintaining an active patient care practice
• Eligible for a Texas license
• Master?s Degree in Nursing (DNP preferred) or Master?s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related discipline
• Preferred experience in cardiology practice and cardiac inpatient care
• Preferred in large multisite practice management
• Preferred experience in managing advanced practice provider leadership or clinical practice management
