Join to apply for the Med Tech Field Service Technician - PM - Houston, TX - San Antonio, TX role  part‑time opportunity supports a leading medical device manufacturer’s field support needs through the completion of preventative maintenance in hospitals, pharmacies, and other clinical settings. The current product line is an automated medication dispensing system.

The part‑time schedule for this opening will primarily be scheduled service appointments averaging 25‑30 hours per week. This opening offers growth opportunities that could expand into supporting the reactive on‑call team completing device repairs as needed.

• Travel locally and regionally as needed to complete bi‑annual or yearly preventative maintenance for healthcare facilities.
• Complete work order documentation following quality requirements.
• Conduct routine system checks and record data from product tests after configuration.
• Maintain tools assigned by the client as needed.
• Per‑diem position requiring travel with some overnight assignments and flexibility.
• Availability to work scheduled facilities that may require service to take place either during the business day or after business hours (nights).
• Coordinate with supporting teams such as schedulers to facilitate service appointments.

• High school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Intermediate troubleshooting abilities in electronics, mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
• Preferred experience as a military technician, computer technician, or other complex electronics technician; experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• A+ certification preferred.
• Prior field service, IT, electronics, military, or pharmacy technician experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support.
• Active driver’s license and personal vehicle for job‑related assignments (travel time and mileage reimbursed).
• Capacity to push, pull, stoop, bend, lift approximately 70 lbs.
• Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including proof of vaccination status.

Upon selection, individuals must complete the healthcare facility credentialing process, meeting immunization requirements such as Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine, Varicella vaccine, Negative TB Test, Tdap vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, Influenza vaccine (seasonal), and COVID‑19 vaccine primary series.

The potential base pay range for this role is $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule.
