Job Summary and QualificationsGeneral Statement of Duties:
The Clinical Informatics Coordinator (CIC) is responsible for the facilitation and leadership of facility Clinical Informatics by leading the implementation of and providing ongoing support for corporate/division/facility projects related to clinical informatics, including: standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization. The CIC supports standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to the electronic health record and other clinically related technologies. They coordinate, support, and complete project assessments, workflow mapping, tools, and resources focused on Clinical Informatics initiatives, including provider order entry, documentation, interoperability, and other technology that supports clinician workflow.
The CIC collaborates with the Director of Clinical Informatics and facility peers to ensure clinical applications are well supported.
