Schedule:

Weekends only (Saturday and Sunday)
Pay: $15 per year for CNAs and $14 per year for Non‑licensed

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to provide weekend care and support to a client in Schertz, Texas. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and ensuring the well‑being of the client.

• Obtain and record vital signs and notify the office of deviations according to standard practice.
• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, dressing, hair care, shaving, deodorant application, skin care with lotions or powder, foot care, and ear care.
• Assist with nail and oral hygiene as part of routine care.
• Change bed linens and make the bed.
• Assist with eating and ensure adequate nutrition and fluid intake when appropriate.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers, including to the toilet/commode, bedpan, and other positional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as straightening rooms and doing laundry.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Apply basic infection control principles and notify supervisors of any concerns.
• Follow the Plan of Care as instructed by the agency's health‑care professional.
• Document care accurately and submit all documentation per agency policy.
• Observe and report any physical or behavioral changes in the patient or family situation.
• Adhere to the visit schedule and communicate any changes promptly.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and agency personnel.
• Attend required in‑service training and meetings (minimum 12 hours per year).
• Follow the agency's policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in performance improvement activities as indicated.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with auto insurance.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy.
