Front Office Medical

Attends to visitors and addresses inquiries on the phone and face to face. Provides information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.

• Check In, including verifying patient demographics, collecting copays, deductibles, and co‑insurance
• Mail new patient packets
• Confirm appointments
• Assist with new patient referrals
• Schedule appointments
• Request medical records, as applicable
• Verify insurance for add‑ons
• Scan in daily collections sheets
• Travel to other locations as needed
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Keyboard skills
• Min 2 years insurance verification experience
• Min 2 years front office experience in a medical practice
• Bilingual – English/Spanish, preferred
• Valid Texas driver’s license, in good standing
