As an on-site Occupational Health Technician, you’ll be a key part of a safety-focused medical team providing injury triage, health support, and wellness guidance for the workforce. You’ll work closely with safety professionals and project leadership to keep workers healthy, safe, and productive. What You’ll Do:

A Day in Life Injury & Illness Care
  • Triage and treat occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Provide follow-up care based on Evidence-Based Medical protocols
  • Understand and support workers  compensation and risk management processes
Clinic & Documentation
  • Document all patient encounters utilizing an EMR system
  • Maintain a clean, fully stocked clinic
  • Communicate with MMC leadership and local providers
Safety Collaboration
  • Work with the site safety team daily
  • Lead “Stretch and Flex” sessions and conduct site walks
  • Help identify workplace health risks
  • Promote employee wellness initiatives
Onboarding & Compliance
  • Conduct new hire drug screens and orientation
  • Perform substance abuse and occupational health testing
  • Attend weekly team meetings to review cases and site updates
Customer Relations
  • Deliver excellent service to employees and site leadership
  • Build trust and foster a positive work environment
Physical Requirements

This role requires extensive physical strength, dexterity, and endurance to perform in fast-paced, high-stress environments—often under hazardous conditions.

Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Current State Medical License at level listed above, or the ability to obtain one according to the NREMT, State Laws and Regulations, or the EMS/Nurses Compact.
  • Current ACLS certification required
  • OSHA-30 Certification required within 90 days of employment (this is company provided via online education).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Healthcare Provider
  • Emergency, occupational, or industrial safety experience preferred
Skills & Abilities
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing (when driving is required)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and adaptability
  • Ability to read, interpret, and complete medical and administrative documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal databases
  • Skilled in using standard office and medical equipment
  • Ability to handle the physical responsibilities of the job as listed above
Relocation/Commute

Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting work in San Antonio, TX.
