RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Guaranteed 36 hours per week with 3 shifts per week required

• Weekend rotation required - every other weekend

• 13 or 26 week assignment lengths available

• No call requirements

• Must have 2+ years of ICU experience

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH

• Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses not accepted

• Must be comfortable with vasoactive drips and have strong understanding of hemodynamics

• ECMO and CRRT (Nxt Stg) experience preferred

• Meditech documentation system experience preferred

• Work in high acuity COVID ICU with advanced interventions including VV ECMO

• Handle 1:2 patient ratios on 14-bed unit

• Equipment includes ECMO NxtSTG systems

• Procedures performed include ECMO, CRRT, chest tube insertions, and central line insertions

• Floating policy: as needed throughout facility

• Dress code:
Navy scrub top and pants with navy or white scrub jacket
