The Recreation Therapist is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating age appropriate therapeutic recreation programs for behavioral health patients based on evidence‑based practice. Recreational Therapists provide group therapy, expressive therapies, recreation and psych education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Recreational Therapist are also responsible for the supervision of Activity Aides, Music and other personnel. Maintains safety standards and QPI for the department.
