The Physical Therapist assesses patients, formulates a plan of care and provides direct patient care services in accordance with the law and state practice act. Services must be ordered by a physician. The Physical Therapist also supervises and delegates appropriate functions to the Physical Therapist Assistant or Rehab Technician.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy

• Master’s Degree or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy

• Basic computer skills, good interpersonal skills, basic organizational and time management skills, basic knowledge and skills to care for the physical needs of the population served.

• Advanced skills/certifications in specialty areas, such as NDT, geriatric, orthopedics, etc.

• Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist and BLS

• Work/educational experience in the healthcare field

• One year experience as a Physical Therapist in a health care setting.
