The position is full time working four 10-hour shifts. Call Required.

Under the general supervision of the director, Heart and Vascular Services and CV Coordinator, the CV Technologist in the Cath lab is responsible for the provision of services of a highly specialized nature to patients according to physician’s orders. Provides for patient safety and high-quality testing. Also responsible for the operation all x-ray equipment, scrubbing-in to assist the physician in complex angiographic procedures, and the provision of safe and effective care of the patient having invasive or non-invasive special procedures in the Cath Lab to include the immediate pre-procedure period, during the procedure, and immediately following the procedure.

• Graduate of accredited school of radiology, nursing or certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist.

• ARRT, RN, or RCIS

• Basic computer keyboard skills.

• Meditech proficiency

• Certified Medical Radiology Technologist, LVN, RN, Cardiovascular Tech I, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist. Certified in Basic Life Support

• Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN)
• Cardio-Vascular Certified RN (CVRN)

• Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab clinical experience

• Two or more years’ experience in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab unit
