Position: LEAD THERAPIST (LICENSED) - Highpoint (PHP)

Overview

Since 1987, Laurel Ridge Treatment Center has been the premier provider of specialized behavioral health and addictive disease services in San Antonio and South Texas.

Our 330-bed facility and therapeutic 29-acre campus serve children, adolescents, young adults, adults, veterans and military personnel. Comprehensive programs treat bipolar disorder, psychological trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, mental illnesses and addictive disease disorders including alcoholism, drug addiction and substance abuse.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing clinical treatment and case management to patients across a range of age groups and mental health conditions. Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, maintain accurate patient records, ensure confidentiality, and meet caseload demands.

Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong assessment and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and able to meet demands of heavy caseload
  • Ability to maintain patient records and confidentiality
  • Excellent understanding of professional boundaries/relationships with staff and patients
  • Excellent clinical and didactic skills and understanding of group dynamics
  • Must understand the needs of patients aged 3 through 18
  • Demonstrated ability to work on cross functional teams
Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Master’s Degree in Counseling or Psychology

Licensure/Certification

LMSW, LCSW, LPCA, or LPC.

Experience

Minimum 2 years post licensure experience working with psychiatric population. At least 1 year supervisory experience.
