Addison Group is partnering with a growing healthcare organization that provides centralized billing services for both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation facilities. This team is focused on full-cycle claims resolution and is looking for experienced collectors who are ready to dig into claims and drive results.
Job Description:We are hiring multiple experienced Medical Collectors to join a high-performing revenue cycle team. These roles are responsible for managing the full lifecycle of claims, from submission to resolution, including appeals, rebills, and denial management. Candidates must be based in the San Antonio area and open to working onsite in the future if needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle claim resolution, including insurance follow-up, appeals, and rebills.
- Work third-party aging reports and follow up on outstanding claims.
- Investigate and resolve Explanation of Benefit (EOB) denials.
- Submit tracers, adjustments, and appeals using appropriate codes.
- Analyze denied claims and determine root causes for resolution.
- Perform basic contract analysis and reimbursement calculations.
- Maintain productivity of 18–20 claims per day with high accuracy.
- Use systems such as Well Sky and HMS for claim tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- 2+ years of medical collections experience, specifically with UB-04 forms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with basic Excel and computer navigation.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Stable work history preferred (no frequent job changes or unexplained gaps).
