This field-based position is based in San Antonio, TX in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias or irregular heartbeats.

Under general direction, the CRM Product Support Specialist provides comprehensive engineering, sales, educational, and technical support. This role responds to field inquiries from physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and field sales staff regarding CRM products.

• Act as a senior clinical interface between the medical community and the business.
• Build and sustain credible business relationships with customers and share product expertise.
• Provide engineering, sales, education, and clinical support in response to field inquiries.
• Develop, lead, and facilitate training sessions and programs on CRM products for healthcare professionals.
• Provide additional backup support to the Cardiac Rhythm Team in sales support, regional training seminars, clinical studies/data collection, troubleshooting, new product in-service training, and mentoring less experienced Clinical Specialists.
• Continuously develop engineering, sales, and technical skills related to the overall Arrhythmia Management strategy.

• Bachelor’s degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
• 6+ years of related experience or a program certification from an accredited cardiac training program.
• IBHRE certification in CRM products.
• Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, or cardiac electrophysiology procedures.
• Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems.
• Engineering skills to interpret and solve complex clinical problems.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation, analytical, and organizational abilities. Able to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, technical specialists, vendors, and customers; manage multiple assignments simultaneously efficiently.
• Extensive personal computer skills including Microsoft Office or equivalent software for graphics, word processing, databases, and authoring programs.
