POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the management of Care Link Member Services enrollment center and its eligibility, enrollment, customer service and member education functions. Responsible for the management of staff and the educational needs required to perform assignments. Serves as a liaison between staff, members, and the community to educate members and community regarding benefits, requirements and other components of the Care Link program.
Must have sound knowledge of the schedule of benefits and how it relates to other funding sources. Responsible for expanding the image, awareness and utilization of the University Health and the Care Link Program.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree with coursework in business, health care administration, or related area is preferred. High School diploma is required. Minimum of three years experience in managed care environment is preferred. Minimum of three years experience working with special populations including interaction with Health and Human Services functions is preferred. Health care customer service experience is preferred.
