Contract Specialist; Security Clearance

Bennett Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Contract Specialist I with a working knowledge of various contract types, including government contracts, and the ability to work independently in San Antonio, Texas.

• Conduct contract reviews, assist with cradle-to-grave operations, manage order modifications, and handle close-outs.
• Will need to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS).
• Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions.
• Review solicitation packages for completeness.
• Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents that should be included in a solicitation package.

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 24 hours of business credit.
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience with an emphasis on contract close-outs.
• Must have working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR 8, 12, and 15).
• FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II is preferred.
• Recent experience as a Federal Contracting Officer/Specialist.
• Experience with 100% Small Business Set Aside.
• Experience with 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) Security Requirements:

• Applicants selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $73,000. This position is in San Antonio, Texas.
