As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience working with our accounting and finance team, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting key financial workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and business performance to provide insights.
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and presentations for internal use.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Support accounting functions, including reconciliations and general ledger tasks.
- Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Work with our credit card processing company to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Junior or Senior level preferred).
- Strong analytical, practical, and creative thinking skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Quick Books, or similar).
- Ability to track financial trends and deliver actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Gain a deep understanding of cash management policies.
- Learn about treasury activities and their impact on business operations.
- Understand the budgeting process and financial planning strategies.
- Develop expertise in financial reporting procedures and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in finance and accounting within an aerospace environment.
- Mentorship from experienced finance professionals.
- Exposure to real-world financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
