Resource Advisor (Finance Lead)
The Resource Advisor (Finance Lead) is responsible for managing financial oversight for the program, ensuring adherence to funding thresholds and cost controls. This role proactively monitors spend plans, informs the Government COR and Technical Leads when budget limits approach identified thresholds, and prepares and submits accurate and timely invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
Responsibilities- Monitor and track financial obligations, expenditures, burn rates, and remaining funding.
- Ensureप्रिय compliance with contractual financial thresholds and reporting requirements.
- Inform the Government COR and Technical Leads when spend limits are reached or require adjustment.
- Prepare and submit timely, accurate, compliant invoices and financial reports.
- Collaborate with program leadership to support forecasting, budget planning, and resource allocation.
- Maintain documentation of financial transactions, approvals, and deliverables.
- Identify risks associated with funding and provide
CTX recommendations for mitigation. - Ensure adherence to internal controls and government financial guidelines.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial administration, government contracting finance, program control, or project accounting.
- Must be a US citizen – able to obtain a Public Trust.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with federal contracting financial systems, invoice submission systems, or tracking tools (e.g., WAWFPagamento, ERP systems) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of federal budgeting processes, cost accounting, and invoicing requirements.
- Strong analytical, financial tracking, and reporting abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when interfacing with Government stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple financial tasks simultaneously.
